David Earl Hoover

U.S. Veteran

David Earl Hoover, 50, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012. One of four children, he was born on July 2, 1962 in Azle, Texas to Clifford Wayne and Melva Ruth (Hollingshead) Hoover.

The Hoover family moved from Texas to Oklahoma when David was seven years of age. They settled in Sand Springs where he attended Charles Page High School before joining the Oklahoma National Guard. David was a tile setter by trade. In his free time he enjoyed time spent outdoors camping and fishing.

Preceding David in death was his father, Wayne Hoover. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Melva Hoover; brothers, Troy Hoover and wife Doreen; Robert Hoover and wife Penny; sister, Susan Graves and husband Mark; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viewing and visitation is scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home.

Private family services will follow.
