Caterina Stout

Caterina Stout, 82, Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

Caterina was born in Liznjan, Croatia, on January 9, 1930, to Ivan Fedel and Justina (Grbin) Fedel. She was married to James Stout in Reno, Nevada on September 23, 1972. Education was very important to Caterina and she received her Master’s Degree. She was a bank analyst for the Bank of America. Much of Caterina’s pastime was spent reading. Being able to speak five languages enabled Caterina to read War and Peace in the Russian language. For many years, being an excellent seamstress, she made all of her clothes. Cooking for the family and spending time with them was the highlight of any day with Caterina. Children were special to Caterina, especially the nieces and nephews. That big beautiful smile and wonderful outlook on life will be missed by her family and friends.

Caterina was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Justina Fedel and brother Ivan.

Surviving Caterina is her husband James of the home; niece Lori Cole and family and Nevia; nephews Larry Vaughan and family and Emil; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Caterina will be Friday, July 27, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. in the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service Chapel, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Interment will be at a later date in Liznjan, Croatia. Visitation for Caterina will be Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 8:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.
