Phyllis J (Mattingly) Riddle

Phyllis J. (Mattingly) Riddle, 71, Tulsa, Oklahoma, left this life to be rejoined with her beloved husband, Bruce, of 53 years, on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

Phyllis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, June 12, 1941, to Gilbert Mattingly and Thelma (Gallion) Mattingly. She was married to Bruce Riddle, in Stigler, Oklahoma, on March 6, 1957. Phyllis was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her life. Phyllis was a Prayer Warrior and also enjoyed crocheting, fishing and puzzles. One of her joys was planting a tree in Israel. Her life was rich and truly blessed. Phyllis touched the heart and lives of many and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her father Gilbert Mattingly; husband Bruce Riddle, and two brothers Jerry and Larry Mattingly.

Phyllis is survived by her mother Thelma Miller of Collinsville, Oklahoma; son Darrell Riddle and wife Pamela of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter Deborah Riddle Dilday of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters Helen Johnson of Claremore, Oklahoma, Ellen DelSardo of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Georgie Mattingly of Arkansas; brothers Steve Blogett of Arkansas and David Mattingly of Arkansas; grandchildren Jerry Wayne Dilday II and wife Lori of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wendy Nichols and husband Matt of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rebekah Dilday of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jarredd Riddle of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services for Phyllis will be Friday, August 3, 2012, at 9:00 A.M. in the Woodland Memorial Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Visitation for Phyllis will be Thursday, August 2, 2012, from 8:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Condolences may be sent to the family at
