Doris Oleva McClure, 83, formerly of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed from this life Thursday, August 2, 2012, in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Doris was born in Topeka, Kansas, on August 4, 1928, to Luther Carroll Bilyeu and Julia Alice (Carter) Newton. She was married to Robert McClure who preceded her in death in 1963. Although Doris was handicapped by various sicknesses for most of her life, she did enjoy doing arts and crafts and spending as much time as possible with her beloved family. She was an excellent card player and excelled in the game of Yahtzee. The family and friends of Doris will miss her greatly.
Preceding her in death was her parents Luther and Julia Bilyeu; husband Robert; sister LeNore Marie Menn; and great-great nephew Raymond Pilgrim.
Doris is survived by her great niece Rhonda Beck and great-great niece Mikale Marie Pilgrim.
Graveside services for Doris will be Monday, August 6, 2012, at 10:00 am, in the Woodland Memorial Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mobley-dodsonfuneralservice.com.
