Trula Jeanette Brimer, 70, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Jeanette was born on March 4, 1942, in Tennessee to Henry and Minnie Mae (Brown) Trent.

Jeanette grew up in Arkansas, but was a longtime resident of Sand Springs. She married James Brimer in 1959 and together they raised six children. They were very dear to her heart and she was fiercely devoted to her family. In her spare time she enjoyed her tomato garden and will be remembered for her home cooked meals. Her beautiful blue eyes will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Brimer was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Minnie Trent; and her husband, James.

She is lovingly survived by her sons, Jerry Brimer and wife Renita, Jimmy Brimer, Tommy Brimer and wife Terrie, and Jeff Brimer; daughters, Dana Battenfield and husband, Harry, and Becky Cordova and husband, Damien; thirteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Mobley-Dodson Chapel, 211 E. Broadway, in Sand Springs. Viewing and visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2012.
