Larry Dan Pendleton, Jr., 59, of Tulsa, OK passed from this life on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Services have been entrusted to Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service with a memorial service scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2014 at Regency Park, Church of the Nazarene, 8707 East 51st St., Tulsa, OK. His final resting place will be at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK.

Mr. Pendleton was born on December 19, 1954 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Larry and Barbara (Trantham) Pendleton. He grew up in the Tulsa area and graduated from Will Rogers High School before joining the United States Army. Larry was united in marriage to Kellie Lee Campbell on July 22, 2000 in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Together they were raising two sons, Ryan and Kelen Pendleton.

Larry served as a First Class Engineer with the Tulsa Housing Authority. He was also a cartoonist for the Tulsa World publishing the Graphic Nature cartoon strip. His passions in life, however, were playing the guitar, singing, and being an artist. His love for his wife and sons was immense and he will forever be missed by his loved ones.

Left to mourn his loss are wife Kellie Pendleton; sons, Ryan and Kelen Pendleton; father, Larry Dan Pendleton; sister, Gayla Anderson; and brothers, Charles Pendleton and Glen Pendleton. Preceeding Larry in death was his mother, Barbara Pendleton.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 and Saturday, January 18, 2014 with the family receiving friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pendleton Children Education Fund c/o 1st Tulsa Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 470192, Tulsa, OK 74147.
